Paul Bosauder
FOUNDER & TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Paul Bosauder, the founder and principal analyst of Sequence, holds a unique and prestigious position as New Zealand's only NAFEMS registered Professional Simulation Engineer (PSE) with advanced accreditations in both flow and stress analysis. He also possesses a current CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) registration, specialising in computer-based flow and stress analysis, specifically for the design, code verification, and fitness for service (FFS) assessment of industrial and process plant equipment. Paul's expertise and dual accreditation in flow and stress analysis demonstrate his comprehensive understanding of engineering simulation, making him a leading authority in New Zealand for addressing complex engineering challenges.

Thomas Archbold
SENIOR ENGINEERING ANALYST
Thomas Archbold is a highly accomplished engineer with a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he specialised in computational mechanics, design, and analysis. His doctoral research made significant advancements in applying sophisticated machine learning (ML) techniques such as variational Bayes, Gaussian processes, and dimensionality reduction — to tackle uncertainties in load, material properties, and geometry within complex finite element analysis (FEA) models. This work enhanced the efficiency of parametric studies using FEA and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
Prior to his PhD, Thomas led structural design analyses, performed CFD simulations, and developed analytical tools for load calculations and fatigue life assessments. He has also designed and patented innovative engineering solutions, including a cutting blade with superior performance. His career reflects a deep commitment to advancing engineering practices by integrating cutting-edge technology with innovative design methodologies.

Joshua Duley
INDUSTRIAL MATHEMATICIAN
Dr. Joshua Duley is an industrial mathematician having consulted on optimisation problems and process models across a number of industries. His broad mathematical training permits an array of techniques being brought to bear on problems including dynamical systems modeling, stochastic process' and Monte Carlo simulations, and optimisation methods such as simulated annealing, cluster analysis, and integer programming. Fluent in a range of programming languages, much of his work involves taking established industry workflows and integrating modern mathematical techniques to formalise solutions and improve the accuracy of work while reducing the demands of manual analyses that are still often undertaken. He is passionate about problem solving and alleviating technical burdens with direct and comprehensible results.
